Tamnagh Foods
Tamnagh Foods was established in 2008 with the initial aim of providing fresh handmade breads, that were different, to the people of the north west of Ireland. The Great Taste Awards gave two of our breads Gold Stars for Taste. This was a fantastic achievement in our first year.
Julie Hickey is the owner/chef of Tamnagh Foods and is an experienced chef and a graduate from The French Culinary Institute of New York. Julie is supportive of local food inititives that encourage people to buy local were possible, and she works closely with local organic farmers through the North West Organic Co-Operative.
In 2009 we have continued to develop our range and will shortly be adding some handmade snacks to complement our range.
In 2010 we have plans to develop our own farmhouse cheese which we are really excited about. Email us and we will keep you posted..
